Tony Hurd has long been a maker of things, a designer of things, culminating in 1993 with Altone Design. For over 30 years, his design workshop has blended precision craftsmanship with a quiet elegance that endures.  He firmly believes that good furniture should be designed & built to last.  With a philosophy of buy less, choose better, customers of Altone Design still have pieces in their homes that date back to when he first launched.  This makes Tony happy.
