For over 30 years, Altone Design has shaped designer timber furniture in Australia, guided by precision craftsmanship and a quiet, enduring aesthetic. Each piece is made to order in Sydney, for those who value permanence over production.

Our work spans dining tables, coffee tables, sideboards, and cabinetry—forms that sit with intention in contemporary Australian homes. Pieces can be selected from our existing range or developed as one-off works, built slowly and without compromise. Each design resolves proportion, function, and material into something considered and complete.

We believe in buying less, choosing well. These are pieces made to live with — to age, to mark time, to remain. Many of our earliest works are still in use today.

All furniture is designed and made in Australia using premium timber and responsibly sourced materials wherever possible. The grain, the variation, the subtle irregularities—these are not corrected, but kept. No two pieces are the same.

Altone Design produces in small numbers. Nothing is mass made. Each piece exists on its own terms—built to outlast trends, and to belong.
