An Altone piece is not designed to disappear politely into its setting. It brings proportion, material and presence to the room, giving the interior a point of view around which everything else can fall into place. 

Sometimes that begins with a piece from our collection, made in a particular dimension, timber or colour. Sometimes it calls for something entirely new.

Either way, the intention is the same: to create furniture with enough presence to lead a room, and enough restraint to live within it for years to come.

Altone has designed and made furniture in Sydney since 1993. The person who develops the idea remains connected to each piece through design, drawing and production.
